We are aware of various memos, documents, and recent guidance released from both DHS and Cal OES outlining changes in priorities, strategy, and tactics for DHS-funded grants, including those managed and administered by the Bay Area UASI. We are also closely monitoring ongoing challenges in federal court and the outcomes of those challenges. Bay Area UASI executive staff, along with legal counsel from all sub-recipients, are reviewing this information to understand its implications. We will follow up when we have a better understanding of the potential implications and whether there will be any changes in standard operating procedure for programs managed by the Bay Area UASI.
